A SUNDAY SCHOOL CURRICULUM
for Coromandel Baptist Church arranged by Jane Linn and Chris Thorpe and utilising Bible study notes written by Grant Thorpe

The Church's Senior Pastor is the Rev. Dr. Noel Due. He was previously pastor of the Church between 1985 and 1991. In 1992 in response to God's call, he and his wife and family moved to Scotland. He served there firstly as the pastor of Kinmylies Baptist Church in Inverness, and then as lecturer in Pastoral Theology at the Highland Theological College. He accepted a call to return to the congregation as the Senior Pastor in July 2004. During his time in Scotland he was also engaged in regular preaching across a number of denominations; leading and contributing to teaching missions, teaching weekends and student ministry; and helping with pastoral care in various settings.

Rev. Grant Thorpe continues as a pastor in the congregation. He has worked in several Baptist Churches for over twenty-six years, including twelve years at Coromandel Baptist. He has served as a staff worker for seven years with the Australian Fellowship of Evangelical Students (ministering to university students through their Christian groups on campus) and five years as a Bible teacher with New Creation Teaching Ministry

Noel and Grant work together with the other Elders to provide pastoral oversight of the congregation.

We are grateful to God for his mercy to us in Christ, and bear witness to this through our life together and through making known what has been given to us. We are grateful for this site to facilitate this expression of our life as a congregation, and to help make materials available to the wider world.
